So vast. So curious. They’re always there. And yet they’re not. The ever-watchful eyes in the sky. The guardians of night. Like a vast army. Always standing at attention. They never stray from their post. Beautiful. Like a soul waiting to be born. A thing of raw beauty, unmatched. Raw. And Pure. They cry sometimes. Blinking in the night. Their tears alighting, in the atmosphere of Earth. To come flickering down. To places unknown. A secure stronghouse. A place of storage. They hold the memories. Of those before us. And those to come. Forever there to guide us. And lead us home. Should least we go astray.
